About

Blascello

Blascello, also known as Mikołaj Błaszczyk, is a versatile cellist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen and, as a teenager, was a scholarship recipient at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California.

His cello playing has earned him international recognition, yet his artistic ambitions and versatility extend far beyond classical music.
As a co-founder of the group Cello Brothers, he has performed in Poland and abroad, including in Germany, China, and the United States.

Blascello also composes music for films and theatrical productions, highlighting his ability to create emotional sound-driven narratives. His work is known for its innovative arrangements, rich harmonies, and pulsing rhythms—music that transports listeners to another world.

In June 2023, he made his solo debut at Radio Huset in Copenhagen, performing material from his first studio album, “Multiverse.” The project blends classical, cinematic, and electronic influences, showcasing his unique approach to composition and production.

The year 2024 marked a breakthrough in his career. Blascello gained wider recognition through successful collaborations with various artists and hit tracks that gained popularity across streaming platforms.

In 2025, he was also awarded the prestigious “Młoda Polska” scholarship by the Polish Ministry of Culture, solidifying his position as one of the most exciting and sought-after creators of his generation.

This year Miko gained significant traction this year thanks to a series of tracks inspired by the Bridgerton-style sound. The releases achieved strong reach across social media platforms and helped build wider recognition among a broad audience.
